While the spring season is synonymous with bold and bright colors, as a laid-back dresser, I stick to my blacks and chocolate browns, even as the weather starts to warm up. However, after what feels like a never-ending winter wearing out my darker palette for Spring 2026, I’m looking for a refreshing hue to add to my warm-weather capsule wardrobe. Now, as someone who sticks to the minimalist side of dressing, the idea of \u200b\u200bincorporating those more specific colors sounds pretty intimidating. But luckily for me, both celebs and fashion people alike have crowned a color that’s both elevated and elegant as the “it” shade for spring 2026. Enter the icy blue.<\/p>\n

A few days ago, Amy Lou Wood attended the ‘HBO Max UK & Ireland’ launch party in a mini satin icy blue dress, styled with sheer black tights and black heels. And with the upcoming wedding season, it’s clear that this tone works well for any type of formal event styling (of course, I’d recommend staying away from this one). As the warmer weather approaches, I’ll personally be replacing my navy shades with this lighter shade of blue as my go-to safe color for when I want to stray away from neutral colors but stay in my comfort zone. Pairing well with both the muted creams, browns and blacks currently in my wardrobe, as well as the bright reds, oranges and pinks for the extremists among us, you’ll find that wearing icy blue is easier than you initially thought.<\/p>\n
