Here’s what Nate has to say about 13 readers share their favorite walking paths: “I’m a teacher in Minneapolis, and my school is a mile away from the spot where Renee Good was murdered. On that cold January day when she was murdered, I told my middle-school students what the route to my house would be, so they’d know there would be an adult nearby if things got chaotic. They spent weeks supporting students through online learning and grocery delivery. It started as a way to be there for my students, but it became a much-needed cold weather shock to the system that I believe so many of us in Minneapolis were feeling, walking in the cold and caring for our neighbors.<\/p>\n
