Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored the fastest half-century by any cricketer in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He crossed the 50 run mark 13<\/strong> Delivery against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens in 2023.<\/p>\n

In doing so, Jaiswal broke the record for the all-time fastest half-century jointly held by two players – Pat Cummins and KL Rahul, who had previously reached the milestone. 14<\/strong> balls.<\/p>\n

Jaiswal’s incredible innings is also the fastest half-century in IPL away games<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Before Jaiswal’s 13-ball assault, the record of 14 balls was shared by KL Rahul and Pat Cummins for over a year. The 15-ball mark is the most “crowded” level, now featuring six different players including young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi.<\/p>\n

Suresh Raina’s 50 runs in 16 balls<\/strong> The fastest IPL half-century came in a knockout game against Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) at the Wankhede Stadium. Nicholas Pooran, Travis Head and Fraser-McGurk are the only three batsmen to score three or more<\/strong> under fifties 20<\/strong> balls in the IPL, Fraser is the only player to score 50 runs in two under-15 balls in the tournament.<\/p>\n

In the above list, Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians have the highest number of entries \u2013 Seven<\/strong> Everyone. And MI also tops the list as the team with the most entries (nine<\/strong>) on reaching his early half-century.<\/p>\n
