The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has circulated a photo of a man who was seen exposing himself to a female shopper inside a food store. This obscene act was captured in the surveillance camera installed inside the store. The incident happened on March 23 between 7:30 and 8 p.m. inside a Whole Foods store in the 24100 block of Valencia Boulevard in Valencia. On Monday, the department released a photo of the suspect wearing a denim shirt and jeans. He is described as a man in his 30s with black hair and brown eyes, standing over 6 feet tall and weighing about 220 pounds.Officials say the suspect could face multiple charges, including indecent exposure and sexual assault.“There’s a pervert shopping with us. It’s very disturbing,” a shopper named Norma told Eyewitness News, which obtained the footage. As the video went viral, several unverified claims were made about the identity of the suspect and it became a trigger for hate speech on Twitter. Mario Navafal wrote, “A man inside a Southern California Whole Foods was caught on camera allegedly pulling down his pants and pressing his genitals against a woman’s ear. Absolutely insane.
