At one time or another, most of us have expressed anger at fate and cursed the darkness. Each of these actions is equally ineffective. Denying the existence of God is a completely different thing. To rob God of heaven is to rob ourselves of grace, hope, and a future. How foolish it is to forget that behind the creation of wonder, order, diversity, beauty, power and pattern is the Great Creator. He is far greater than His handiwork, and we dare not ignore, deny, or dismiss Him, because then we become our own gods, left only to worship ourselves and the beauty He created for us. How small our world becomes when we deny the existence of God (1 Corinthians 1:18-32).<\/p>\n
Oh Almighty God, Creator and Sustainer, we thank You for always being there not only as the great \u201cI AM\u201d (Exodus 3:13-15; Hebrews 13:5-6) but with each of us today. Please use us, Your children, to awaken our skeptical world to the wonder, glory, majesty, righteousness, grace and love that You are! In the name of Jesus, we pray and praise you, O Lord. Amen.<\/p>\n
