A mother has reportedly beheaded her boyfriend after catching her young son taking off his nappy to abuse him.<\/p>\n

Filled with rage, he picked up a knife and launched a bloody attack on her \u2013 reportedly stabbing her multiple times.<\/p>\n

During the struggle, the victim struggled and managed to injure her hand with the serrated blade before being killed.<\/p>\n

Silva then decapitated Santos before dragging his body into the bathroom.<\/p>\n

His severed head was hidden inside a backpack, which police later found in the living room.<\/p>\n

This incident took place in Itaqua, on the outskirts of the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo.<\/p>\n

After the attack, Silva reportedly called relatives and her ex-husband, the father of her two young children, to confess to her crime.<\/p>\n

He then shared photos and videos of Santos’ body as proof of what he had done.<\/p>\n

It was her mother \u2013 a grandmother of two \u2013 who called the police to report what her daughter had done.<\/p>\n

detective says Suspicious<\/span>who has been remanded in custody pending the ongoing murder investigation, had cleaned both the alleged murder weapon and the crime scene before arriving.<\/p>\n

Municipal public security chiefs confirmed in a statement that a 24-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday morning in a neighborhood called Chakara Cuiba.<\/p>\n

“Military police were called to the scene and upon arrival they found that the suspect had stabbed the victim,” he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe confessed to the crime and was taken into custody and a case was registered at the local police station.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police confirmed that the victim suffered “multiple stab wounds, as well as being decapitated.”<\/p>\n

On the night of the attack, the couple had spent the night drinking with a friend.<\/p>\n

Silva later told officers that she was lying on the living room floor \u2013 apparently sleeping \u2013 when she saw her partner unwrapping the young child’s nappy.<\/p>\n

She claimed he reacted immediately \u2013 acting in self-defense \u2013 and stabbed her.<\/p>\n

Authorities are investigating the case as murder as well as procedural fraud and concealment of the body.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors have requested that his arrest be converted to pre-trial detention, arguing that there is not enough evidence to support his claim that he acted in self-defense.<\/p>\n
