A former royal butler, speaking on behalf of the King and Queen, talks about some of the lighter moments he had with them Heart Bingo Online <\/i>Before April Fool’s Day.<\/p>\n
Grant Harrold, who worked for the King at Highgrove House between 2004 and 2011, recalled a joke involving Charles in Scotland, Harrold said, “I remember the chief gardener going out for a walk with King Charles, and the joke was that the King wanted us to give him a rucksack full of stones.”<\/p>\n
He reported that the gardener was wearing a heavy backpack and was “barely able to move”, while the horns were attached to his back. “The king joins in on this prank and meets the gardener behind the house, and I promise you, if you saw it, you wouldn’t be able to stop laughing. It was ridiculous. The way the horns were placed they were literally on top of his head.”<\/p>\n
“After a long walk,” the gardener “was really struggling,” Harold said, motioning Charles to come inside. “She finally said, ‘Oh, for God’s sake, take that thing off.'”<\/p>\n
Butler said both Charles and Elizabeth enjoyed small flirtatious moments with the staff.<\/p>\n
She also said that Prince Harry was known for his sense of humor as the royal was “one of the greatest practical jokers.”<\/p>\n
“Harry used to jump out and scare people and provoke people and do other things like that,” Harold said.<\/p>\n
The former butler also remembers that he once became the victim of Queen Elizabeth’s prank. “She came up to me and stopped in front of me and said something unintelligible,” Herold said, admitting, “She had no idea what she said.” Since the Queen was “waiting for an answer,” he replied, “Yes, Your Majesty,” to which the Queen said, “Very well.”<\/p>\n
Later they learned that it was a playful test. “I was told what the Queen used to do was she would come up to you and say something that was inaudible or say something that made no sense, just to see how you reacted,”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
