Backstreet Boys member Brian breaks silence on recent controversy<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\nBrian Littrell’s legal representative has dismissed all claims that the musician used a homophobic slur in a video taken during a scuffle at his Florida home. <\/p>\n
Multiple outlets accused the Backstreet Boys star of insulting alleged beach trespasser Kyle Gallagher with homophobic language.<\/p>\n
in a statement to Entertainment Weekly<\/i>Littrell’s lawyer insisted, “The claims that Mr. Littrell used an anti-gay slur are false.”<\/p>\n
The lawyer said, “The full video of the encounter clearly shows that no such language was used. Sexual orientation played no role in this incident, and any suggestion otherwise is deliberately false.”<\/p>\n
Describing what actually happened, Littrell reportedly claimed that Gallagher had trespassed against her on a Sunday in late March, striking her arm and disturbing the peace.<\/p>\n
Gallagher countered that he was startled by Littrell’s phone being so close to his face and that he grabbed it without thinking.<\/p>\n
However, police concluded that both parties lacked criminal intent and charges were not filed.<\/p>\n
Littrell purchased his Santa Rosa Beach home in 2023 and has been facing encroachment issues ever since.<\/p>\n
“Mr. Littrell and his family purchased what they thought was their dream home, only to discover an ongoing pattern of trespassing and harassment targeting private property owners and their neighbors along the beach,” a legal statement read.<\/p>\n
“These actions are not about public access; public beaches exist on both sides of the neighborhood and remain open and less crowded. Instead, certain individuals appear intent on challenging the concept of private property rights,” it further read.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
