According to a report in The Sun, Edward was the first royal to visit Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and apparently passed a message to King Charles about the former duke moving to his permanent home in exile.<\/p>\n
The father of Princess Eugenie and Beatrice is to take up residence at Marsh Farm in Sandringham but is “dipping his heels”.<\/p>\n
\u201cPrince Edward was the first and only member of the royal family to meet her,\u201d the outlet quoted a friend as saying.<\/p>\n
“Andrew has been ignored by everyone since leaving the Royal Lodge, including his daughters and ex-wife who have stayed away.”<\/p>\n
Edwards had already made his feelings clear publicly by expressing concern for the victims.<\/p>\n
“Edward was supposed to be at Wood Farm as he regularly books it for Easter, but his brother was there,” the insider said.<\/p>\n
The friend added, “Andrew is digging in his heels. He could have stepped forward by now, but has been reluctant. Edward has spoken calmly with his brother.”<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, royal insiders have always hinted that Andrew should be at his permanent new home of Marsh Farm by the Easter weekend.<\/p>\n
Earlier, King Charles had refused to see Andrew when he stayed for a week at Wood Farm, a mile away, at Sandringham last month.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
