Two young siblings died after they allegedly got trapped in a fridge-freezer while playing hide-and-seek.<\/p>\n

Sadly, doctors’ efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.<\/p>\n

The grieving parents said they had set out for the 20-minute journey to the shops when the incident occurred around 7 pm on Saturday evening.<\/p>\n

The tragic death of a 4-year-old boy who died suddenly as police and paramedics raced through the street in a UK town<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

He told the Colombian daily El Tiempo: “When he started school we went out to get groceries and look for a small shirt needed for the parade.”<\/p>\n

In a sad tribute, the children’s mother Karen said: \u201cThank you to my children for giving me the greatest happiness these eight years of my life.<\/p>\n

\u201cSoon we will be together; time is so short and memories last so long.<\/p>\n

“Word fail<\/span> Me. I loved you as much as I could, and only God knows why he took you.<\/p>\n

“Thank you for everything we lived and shared; you will always be in my heart as long as it lasts.”<\/p>\n

Local mayor Juan Andr\u00e9s G\u00f3mez expressed deep regret over the tragedy and expressed hope that something like this would not happen to any other family.<\/p>\n

He said, “This tragic event forces us to reflect as a society and remember that protecting children is not optional; it is a duty. Children do not understand the risks and remain dependent on the care of adults.”<\/p>\n
