President Donald Trump does not support the idea of \u200b\u200ba 45-day ceasefire that would take effect before his upcoming deadline so Iran could either reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face major attacks on its civilian infrastructure, a White House official told CNBC on Monday.<\/p>\n
The note from the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, came hours before Trump was to lead a news conference at the White House.<\/p>\n
