Prince William and Kate Middleton are right to ask for a break, an expert says.<\/p>\n
The Prince and Princess of Wales, who have had a tough few years, have done a lot of work recently.<\/p>\n
As for their recent demands for time off, royal expert Jenny Bond justifies their requirements, saying: “William and Catherine have both had a lot of change in recent weeks and months. They’ve been up and down the country, up and down the country. So I think it would be fair for them to take as much time off as possible over the Easter holidays to be with their children. I know people say ‘Well, I work hard too, but I don’t mind disrupting the school holidays.’ Don’t get a chance.’<\/p>\n
He added: “But the fact is that William and Catherine have jobs for life: there is no retirement age for the King and Queen. So I have no objection to them spending as much of this precious time as they can with their young children. Their holiday plans are always private, but they are likely to spend most of their time at their home in Norfolk, Anmer Hall.”<\/p>\n
“I’m sure they will welcome the opportunity to get away from the scandal involving William’s disgraced uncle, Andrew \u2013 who, of course, is now living just a few miles away from Anmer Hall. Meanwhile, the children will always enjoy living with their grandmother and grandfather, and the Middletons are also very easy and welcoming company to William and Catherine, who love them,” the expert said.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
