Matthew Perry’s stepmother makes grief-stricken plea before Ketamine Queen’s sentencing<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\nMatthew Perry’s stepmother has asked for the maximum sentence with just one day left in dealer Jasveen Sangha’s sentencing hearing in the ketamine case.<\/p>\n
Debbie Perry submitted a victim impact statement to a judge on April 7, saying that the pain felt by loved ones cannot be taken away and asking the court to ensure that Sangha could not harm others in the future.<\/p>\n
“The pain you have caused hundreds, perhaps thousands, of people is irreversible,” People <\/i>Debbie’s words were quoted from a court document. “There’s no joy…there’s no light in the window. They won’t be coming back.”<\/p>\n
She added, “You caused this… You have enough talent to make money for a business that chose a way to harm people.”<\/p>\n
In her closing remarks, D\u00e9by asked the court to ensure that Sangha cannot harm others in the future.<\/p>\n
“Please give this heartless woman the maximum prison sentence so she can never harm other families like ours,” he wrote.<\/p>\n
This statement came a day before Sangha was to be sentenced. Prosecutors have requested a 15-year prison sentence, while the defense is asking for time served.<\/p>\n
Perry died on October 28, 2023, at the age of 54. The autopsy revealed that Friend <\/i>The alum died from the acute effects of ketamine.
