Apple MacBook Air series is one of the most popular laptop series. These are simple, but efficient and powerful. And honestly, given how good these laptops are, they’re pretty affordable these days. Especially if you can get them on sale.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The M5 processor and 16GB of RAM keep the system running smoothly. These are capable enough to edit 4K video, and I use the same components to edit RAW photography, which is also quite demanding. I remember that just a few years ago, a laptop had to cost much more than this to do these tasks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

These are great laptops in all other departments too. You will enjoy a gorgeous design that is now iconic. In fact, the design hasn’t changed over the years. Why fix what isn’t broken, right? It has a metal construction and a thin profile that is only 0.44 inches thick. It weighs only 2.7 pounds, so it is one of the most portable laptops. It also still gets a premium backlit keyboard and larger trackpad. Even the battery life is excellent, providing up to 18 hours of video playback or 15 hours of web browsing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Well, the display is quite good, offering DCI-P3 color gamut reproduction. This makes the MacBook Air a great choice for those who care about color accuracy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Are you having trouble deciding which size to get? Well, they are almost identical, so it’s a matter of preference. If you want something more mobile, the 13-inch model is the obvious choice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

If you go for the larger one, you’ll obviously get some upgrades. The obvious thing is that the display is larger (15.3 vs. 13.6 inches), and the resolution is higher at 2,880 x 1,864 (compared to 2,560 x 1,664). Of course, this also makes the laptop a little larger and heavier. The 15-inch version gets a few extra cores in its GPU and six speakers instead of four. Everything else is the same.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
