Cannes 2026 lineup revealed<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

The 2026 Cannes Film Festival lineup has been announced, with several returning artists and new voices set to compete this year.<\/p>\n

Major titles in the competition include Asghar Farhadi, who returns with parallel stories<\/i>His first feature after winning the Grand Prix hero<\/i> In 2021. <\/p>\n

American director Ira Sachs will also debut the man I love<\/i>A 1980s film that explores the AIDS crisis in New York.<\/p>\n

Spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodovar is another leading contender bitter christmas<\/i>As part of a strong Spanish presence at the festival. Many of his regular collaborators are also involved with other projects screening this year.<\/p>\n

Beyond the competition, Jan Sch\u00f6nbrunn brings one of the most anticipated titles, Teen sex and death at Camp Miasma<\/i>To indefinite relationship<\/i> After the tremendous success of his previous film.<\/p>\n

Festival director Thierry Fr\u00e9maux noted the record number of films directed by women in the competition, of which five were selected this year. They also celebrated a sharp increase in submissions, with over 2,500 films considered \u2013 a significant increase from a decade ago.<\/p>\n

The program will start with electric kiss<\/i> By Pierre Salvadori, while John Travolta is set to make his directorial debut Propeller one-way<\/i> In the Cannes Premiere section.<\/p>\n

This festival will run from 12 to 23 May.<\/p>\n
