With this in mind, the platform <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.spotify.com\/2026-04-09\/video-control-settings-update\/\">Now introducing new video controls<\/a>Which gives users the option to focus more on their music, at least in terms of sound.<\/p>\n<p>Starting today, family plan managers can now turn off video content for other plan members through their membership settings; Previously, this option was limited to users under 13, however the new update also extends it to all members under the Family plan.
