in an interview with circulation<\/i>, Drama <\/i>The actress revealed that she was experimenting with bold looks since she was a child, inspired by the 2000s Disney Channel movie.<\/p>\n
Acknowledging that her parents gave her the space to express herself through clothing, Zendaya revealed that The Cheetah Girls had a major influence on her early fashion sense.<\/p>\n
“Once I was old enough to decide what to wear, they allowed me to dress myself, which was nice,” she said.<\/p>\n
Adding, “So I wasn’t that kid who had a perfectly matching outfit to go to school with – I just picked out what I wanted, starting in kindergarten, all the way up to first grade.”<\/p>\n
The actress continued, “Thankfully not all of my weird outfits were documented,” before adding, “Cheetah Girls was a major thing, so I wore a lot of leopard print \u2014 that’s not cheetah print, but I didn’t know the difference.”<\/p>\n
The 2003 film featured four pop stars, Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, Raven-Symon\u00e9, Sabrina Bryan and Keely Williams, whose vibrant costumes and animal prints made a lasting impression on young audiences.<\/p>\n
Reflecting on her journey, Zendaya said, “Think that exploration is so important \u2013 it’s important to go through weird phases; look back at the things you wore when you were a teen and say, ‘Oh my God, what was I thinking?'”<\/p>\n
She said, “Very few people have chic throughout their lives. As you get older, it’s something that your taste and your personal taste evolves.”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
