So, we gave you a point).”<\/p>\n While Shrestha Iyer treated the video as a light-hearted joke, many Kolkata Knight Riders fans took issue with it. Angry supporters criticized him on social media platforms. He started receiving regular negative comments as well as aggressive threatening messages.<\/p>\n After facing severe online harassment, Shrestha Iyer on Thursday deleted the controversial Instagram reel. He shared a public statement addressing the issue and expressed his disappointment at the threats he received for a video, saying he never intended to harm anyone.<\/p>\n “I have decided to remove my recent video because it seems to have been misunderstood by some people. It was meant to be a light-hearted joke, but I respect that not everyone saw it that way. However, it has been quite upsetting to receive not only negativity, but also some threatening messages on it.
