\nOpenAI hasn’t been very clear about its goal here. The company says the new plan is meant to compete directly with Anthropic, which already offers a $100\/month plan for its Cloud AI. The company also claims that its Codex tool provides more coding capacity per dollar during heavy usage.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nDespite the higher price, the $100 plan still comes with a usage limit. For a limited time (until May 31), OpenAI is offering a higher codec limit than usual at this stage, but this will be reduced later.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nFor users who need even more capacity, the $200 Pro plan offers 20 times the limit than the Plus plan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
