X’s standalone messaging app XChat now has a release date.<\/p>\n

XChat will be coming to iPhone and iPad in a week. The App Store listing for the messaging app shows a preview of the design, including a detailed icon and an April 17 release date.<\/p>\n

According to the app’s description, XChat will allow users to “chat with anyone on<\/p>\n

XChat will not include advertising or tracking and messaging is end-to-end encrypted. <\/p>\n

The preview of the app shows features like the ability to block screenshots, send disappearing messages, put group chats on hold, and make video calls.<\/p>\n

The app has been in testing since last year.<\/p>\n
