If you’ve been following along, you’ll know that CLAR (CapitaLand Ascendas REIT, SGX:A17U) has been one of my main REIT holdings for some time. Currently I have 10,000 units and want to add more. So when the preferential offer came along $2.35 per unit<\/span> – ~6.5% off previous VWAP – I didn’t need much convincing.<\/p>\n

I have subscribed for 2,000 units, consisting of 280 units entitled at the ratio of 28 per 1000 units owned. Total Outlay: $4,700<\/span>. Let me tell you about the deal and why I’m doing it.<\/p>\n

Equity fund raising (EFR) launched on 24 March 2026 to finance the S$1.41 billion acquisition process. It came in two installments:<\/p>\n
