An Orange County dental assistant has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for sexually assaulting three young girls who were patients.<\/p>\n

Tommy Medina, a dental assistant, worked at OC Kids Dental Care and was initially accused in 2015 of luring a 5-year-old girl in 2013 and a 6-year-old girl into a dental exam room alone in 2014 and sexually assaulting them.<\/p>\n

Medina, of Santa Ana, who was 25 at the time, was charged with two felony counts of oral copulation or sexual penetration with a child 10 years of age or younger. <\/p>\n

A third accuser came forward after the Orange County District Attorney’s Office asked for the public’s help in identifying other possible victims of Medina. <\/p>\n

The third accuser, who was 9 years old, said she had a dental procedure at the office and was taken to a private room, where Medina pinned her to a bed and placed a leather cloth over her eyes before attacking her. The Orange County Register reported.<\/a> <\/p>\n
