Luca Spada, 27, is suspected of killing six people by injecting lethal air into their veins in Forli, northern Italy. When air enters the circulatory system, it can travel to the brain, heart or lungs and cause heart attack, stroke or respiratory failure. According to her daughter-in-law Monica Biondi, Dina was “absolutely fine” before leaving her nursing home on November 25, 2025.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n She was being taken to a hospital just over a mile away for a check-up, but she died. The autopsy revealed that Dina had died violently from a severe heart attack. According to investigators, Spada injected a large dose of air into the woman’s veins at the beginning of the drive, causing her horrific death, The Sun reports.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Spada said he was “carefree about the situation”, adding: “I’ve always said I was just unlucky.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n He denied the murders, saying: “I have nothing to do with these incidents \u2013 I’m a nice guy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “They were very elderly people, and we always implemented the necessary protocols. The rest will be clarified by the relevant authorities.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Monica, Deanna’s daughter-in-law, told La Repubblica: “Everything happened very quickly: at 4.30 pm, Nonna died, and at 6.30 pm they took possession of the body, the carabinieri arrived at the hospital.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “They never told us why. We never knew anything about this whole story, we never received official communication about why this autopsy was necessary or what happened. We hope that now, finally, there will be clarity.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n This case is similar to the one that happened in the UK in 2023.
