For those who don’t know, the legendary Indian singer died on Sunday, April 12, at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai due to multiple organ failure. She was 92 years old.<\/p>\n
Following the sad news, the English rock band posted a touching tribute on X and Instagram, saying that Hope’s music “helped us through all our good and difficult times.”<\/p>\n
Cornershop’s 1997 hit track, full of hope<\/i>It was inspired by Asha, with lyrics that paid homage to Bollywood soundtracks.<\/p>\n
Tajinder Singh wrote, “The world and entire India is mourning today.” “We don’t know whether the candle has been extinguished or burnt, such was the stature of Asha Bhosle.”<\/p>\n
A member of the rock band further wrote, \u201cThey say he loved cricket and in that respect he played a brilliant innings, which was exactly at par with the innings of his equally respected sister Lata Mangeshkar.<\/p>\n
He added, “Few people during those years have been able to reach the ability to find love in so many languages \u200b\u200band dialects, and even fewer have been able to reach the wonder of the heart that their songs gave us.”<\/p>\n
Tajinder said, “We say goodbye with all grace to our lady Sadhi Rani, who helped us in all our good and difficult times.”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
