Ephesians 5:8-11<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\nlight in the lord<\/h3>\n
If you wake up early and wait for sunrise to go outside, you know what it’s like to sit in the dark. Unless the light comes, you cannot see anything because darkness hides things, obscures things, and makes things impossible to see.<\/p>\n
But then, just when you think the darkness couldn’t get any darker, you finally see it. The horizon begins to brighten in the east, and dawn begins to break. The sun begins to climb in the sky, and its light now spreads all around you. This is a complete transformation! Whatever you could not see earlier is now visible. <\/p>\n
In the Gospel of John, Jesus says, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12). Just as the sun breaks the darkness of the earth by rising in the east each morning, so too has Jesus broken the spiritual darkness that once hung over our world and our lives.<\/p>\n
Oh, what an impact it has on every day of your life! In the dark, you can’t see. But in the light, you can! You cannot work in darkness. But in the light, you can! Now, you can live as a child of light. This is a complete transformation! <\/p>\n
\u201cThe unfruitful works of darkness\u201d are no longer part of who you are because \u201cyou are light in the Lord.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lord Jesus Christ, You are the light of the world, and You have lightened me by bringing me into the light of Your forgiveness, mercy, and love. My Savior, always bless and sustain me by believing in you because you give me the strength to live just as I am. Amen.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
