His financial filings show that Warsh has a stake of approximately $131 million to $209 million, with his wife, Jane Lauder, having hundreds of millions in additional assets.<\/p>\n<p>That would make Wersch significantly wealthier than Powell, who was considered the richest Fed chair in history at the time of his 2018 confirmation. Powell&#8217;s most recent filing for 2025 shows assets between $19 million and $75 million.<\/p>\n<p>Even the high-end figure for Warsh is almost certainly an underestimate. He detailed several assets reported to be in excess of $50 million with no upper limit.<\/p>\n<p>Warsh declined to comment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This is breaking news.
