“…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” -Romans 3:23<\/em><\/p>\nHave you ever done anything that you regretted? Have you ever said something, and wished you could have captured your words before they even hit the air? We’ve all done things we’re not proud of. Regrets are a part of being human.<\/p>\n
What should we do when we do things we regret? How do we make things right? We can apologize, we can ask for forgiveness, we can go above the call of duty and try to “make payments” to those we have wronged. But in the end, what’s said is said, what’s done is done, and there’s no way to undo the damage it caused.<\/p>\n
When we do things we regret, there is no possible way to make it right. There is no way, that is, apart from God.<\/p>\n
God can change circumstances for the good. He can erase them as if they never existed.<\/p>\n
I am constantly amazed by God’s grace. He gives so much grace, it covers every sin, every bad thing said, and every regret we have ever had. Whatever I try to do on my own, the message of trusting God for the outcome is buried under the rug, no matter my fault. Sometimes our mistakes separate us from others. Sometimes these can also have painful consequences. But we can trust our God to do what is right and make our hearts clean again.<\/p>\n
What needs to be corrected in your life? Are there situations, events, or situations that you regret? Turn to God and ask for His forgiveness. And then trust Him for results. He is able to right any wrong.<\/p>\n
