The post says Vida Health is a &#8220;value-based, virtual cardiometabolic care provider&#8221; that lets users manage their metabolic instability. During the announcement, Ora said it planned to use this acquisition as a way to bring &#8220;cool, useful features&#8221; to users. Naturally, speculation ran rampant as to what DoublePoint was related to, with theories of gesture control coming to Ora Ring.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fancy-box\" id=\"elk-5b2a2249-0405-4a15-8baf-843a439b255d\">\n<p>Android Central&#8217;s Tech<\/p>\n<div class=\"fancy_box_body\">\n<p class=\"fancy-box__body-text\">Ora released a preventive health update to help users better manage their stress and blood pressure. From the title, it&#8217;s clear that Oura is trying to help users avoid any meaningful or impactful negative health events with these features. Blood profile studies as well as cumulative stress focused attention on the progression of Aura. Now, with Vida Health, it&#8217;s looking to turn all the data obtained through its rings into something that users can (presumably) feel comfortable using.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p id=\"elk-5f5e4d6d-6713-4e1b-b48c-b26b8e1d4600\">That&#8217;s partly because Oura and its CEO have not yet provided details about the possibility of gesture controls on its smart rings. It&#8217;s also become quite clear that Ora has no interest in slowing down, not after surpassing 5.5 million in sales at the end of last year. Ora reported that its revenue had doubled to $500 million.
