Ahead, More than 19 million people lack access to health care and vaccine-preventable diseases are spreading rapidly<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, aid operations have slowed as 73 UN staff remain arbitrarily detained by the Houthis, assets seized, access severely restricted and supply chains disrupted across the region.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe gap between the resources we have and growing humanitarian needs is widening,\u201d he stressed. <\/p>\n

A decade of conflict has left people in Yemen “hanging on by a thread”, Ms Vosornu warned \u2013 “and that thread is now breaking.”<\/p>\n
