    For those who missed it, Nothing Warp was announced as a cross-device file transfer tool that worked between Android phones and desktops on macOS, Windows, and Linux. It relied on Google Drive as a temporary bridge to transfer files, links, images, and clipboard text between devices signed in to the same Google account.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    The app was launched just yesterday and we tested it at the launch itself. It worked reliably and was fast enough for basic transfers. However, this required extensive browser permissions and essentially automated a process that users could repeat manually with Google Drive.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Now, in a surprise move, Nothing has removed all traces of the Warp. The company hasn’t shared any official explanation for the takedown, but we’ve reached out and will update you as soon as we hear more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    It’s possible that the removal is temporary to fix a bug or address privacy concerns. Given how quickly Warp disappeared, it’s very possible that something didn’t go according to plan with the app’s release.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
