What&#8217;s more interesting is that it shows that iPhone brand loyalty has increased significantly over the past five years&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-1048388\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sellcell.com\/blog\/smartphone-loyalty-survey-2026\/\">salesale<\/a> conducted a large-scale survey of American smartphone users.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Apple has long dominated brand loyalty in the smartphone market, but what will that loyalty look like in 2026? To find out, CellCell surveyed more than 5,000 smartphone users on iPhone and Android phones in the United States, finding out whether users plan to stick with their current brand, what drives those decisions, and where switchers are going next.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Although 5,000 may seem like a small number, it is actually a very strong sample statistically.<\/p>\n<p>The company asked smartphone users what they expected to buy the next time they upgraded their phone. As you&#8217;d expect, 96.4% of iPhone users said they would buy another iPhone, with only 3.6% expecting to switch to Android.<\/p>\n<p>However, in other ways it was a completely different picture. Among Android users, a full 13.6% said they intended to switch to the iPhone \u2013 nearly four times more.<\/p>\n<p>The firm also measured changing levels of loyalty over the years. iPhone brand loyalty has increased from 90.5% in 2019 to 96.4% in 2026, with most of the increase occurring since 2021.<\/p>\n<p>When iPhone users were asked why they remained loyal to the company, the majority (60.8%) said they simply liked iOS, while a large number also did so because they were invested in the Apple ecosystem (17.4%).
