Aspiring Australian Para-Olympian Natalie Ellis Shaw, 22, says she was on her way to park her car in July last year when she was stopped by another vehicle traveling in the wrong direction.<\/p>\n

The driver of the other car stopped and got out to confront Shaw.<\/p>\n

In a selfie video, Shaw explains: “She comes over and she’s in front of my car and she’s like, ‘What are you going to do? Hit me?'”<\/p>\n

“And I was like, ‘Okay, yeah, if you’re in my way, I’ll get you out of my way’.”<\/p>\n

After this the woman climbs on Shaw’s bonnet and starts abusing him.<\/p>\n

In the footage, the unidentified woman can be heard saying, “Are you going to kill me? Go ahead.”<\/p>\n

“Come on nonsense, go ahead you stupid dog.”<\/p>\n

In footage from 9News, Shaw recalls swerving around in an attempt to remove the woman from in front of his car.<\/p>\n

Shaw begins to pick up speed and eventually reaches about 37 mph.<\/p>\n

The woman tries to hold on to the bonnet by holding the window wiper.<\/p>\n

She is heard yelling: “Slow the fuck down.”<\/p>\n

After this the woman loses her grip and falls from the moving car.<\/p>\n

“She flew off the side of the road. Oh my God,” Shaw said.<\/p>\n

Shaw has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and has lost his license for six months.<\/p>\n

When sentencing the magistrate said this was the most bizarre behavior he had seen in his 25 years of practice.<\/p>\n

“The complainant’s behavior was erratic, it was dangerous, it put you in danger, you put him in danger too,” Thompson said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was a poor decision that you made in circumstances when anyone could objectively see the horrific situation he was facing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shaw’s dream of competing at the LA Paralympics in 2028 may now be in jeopardy.<\/p>\n
