Coming as a fully integrated piece with SmartThings, Now Brief reportedly &#8220;provides a rich AI experience&#8221; that keeps the user informed through their smart home devices. The Galaxy S26 series is leading the introduction of this feature, as Samsung says Now Briefly will support &#8220;home security, family care, and pet care.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fancy-box\" id=\"elk-7709b4da-f124-47b0-9965-770f8a6ccc66\">\n<p>Android Central&#8217;s Tech<\/p>\n<div class=\"fancy_box_body\">\n<p class=\"fancy-box__body-text\">Looking at the Now Brief in this mock-up image, it looks like it belongs. I&#8217;m a huge sci-fi fan (fantasy too), and this is giving off those vibes. A little cyberpunk too. Anyway, I can see this as a quick way for people who are enjoying their morning coffee or glancing at the TV to see what&#8217;s going on overnight. To me, this makes perfect sense.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<aside data-block-type=\"embed\" data-render-type=\"fte\" data-skip=\"dealsy\" data-widget-type=\"seasonal\" class=\"hawk-root\"\/>\n<p id=\"elk-91ddb78f-c8de-42dc-909c-eb7003df3211-0\">Its support also includes existing features, such as Home Insight, Energy and Sleep Environments. Plus, since Now Brief is present on Galaxy phones, Samsung says its usefulness is there when you&#8217;re not home. Family Hub refrigerators are also joining in; However, this applies to models launched in 2021 or later. With a focus on helping users care for their parents, Samsung has highlighted its Family Care integration in SmartThings, which &#8220;connects with a range of home appliances and mobile devices to provide notifications about users&#8217; aging parents&#8217; activities and reminders for medication and hospital visits.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fancy-box\" id=\"elk-33c616f3-9cd7-47f2-b88f-7ce8fc44f34b\">\n<p>Android Central&#8217;s Tech<\/p>\n<div class=\"fancy_box_body\">\n<p class=\"fancy-box__body-text\">This family care update was quite interesting. It&#8217;s important to take care of someone you love, whether they&#8217;ve been in an accident or it&#8217;s just age. We want to keep an eye on them and make sure everything is OK. Samsung&#8217;s Family Care helps in this to some extent. It&#8217;s not a complete blanket for everything that can happen, but it gives you a deep look into the sky, allowing you to keep track all day long.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p id=\"elk-0961555c-3b31-4d2b-8be9-18d9c1452a3e\">Specifically, it says Care Insights provides more actionable and long-term data in the family care environment.
