On a Thursday in April, Trump published nearly 800 words attacking the federal judge who had ordered construction halted until congressional approval, then reposted all four messages within minutes.<\/p>\n
The president himself recognized that reality, writing on his social media accounts last week: “Due to time constraints, I’ll barely be able to use it!” Rather than seeing it as a personal gain, Trump saw it as a gift to future presidents.<\/p>\n
Trump was forced to halt work on the project by a federal court order, which said he would need congressional approval before proceeding. Instead of silencing Trump, this order has encouraged his efforts. The Democratic Party has seized the opportunity to use it against Trump ahead of the midterm elections.<\/p>\n
