If we do not have an answer to life’s greatest test, death, we will never have lasting victory. The Super Bowl and the World Series are played every year. A champion is only a winner for one year and must earn it by competing repeatedly and ending the season with victory. But a Christian is a champion forever. Because of Jesus, every true disciple of Christ Jesus has permanent victory over death. Yes, “Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”<\/i><\/p>\nMy prayer…<\/h4>\n
Lord, thank you for blessing us with lasting victory in Jesus Christ. In our daily struggles with sin, please present Your will victoriously before us now, just as He will when He raises us from death and brings us home. Through our victorious King, we praise you. Amen.<\/p>\n
