Last year it was Cosmic Orange, which was a big hit, especially in China. So naturally, everyone is wondering what Apple is preparing for the iPhone 18 Pro. A supply chain source who spoke to Macworld now claims to have an answer, and the leaked iPhone 18 Pro colors are a bit of a surprise.<\/p>\n The four colors that Apple is reportedly testing are dark cherry, light blue, dark grey, and silver. Dark Cherry is the title. It is a deep, wine-toned red based on Pantone 6076, placing it closer to burgundy than bright red. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman previously reported that Apple is testing a dark red finish for the 18 Pro. Now, a leak from Macworld appears to report on the same color with more specificity. Notably absent: black. According to a separate Weibo leak from Instant Digital, black will not be offered on the iPhone 18 Pro, marking the second year in a row that Apple has abandoned the color that many fans consider the most classic Pro option.<\/p>\n None of these are final. Macworld’s source is clear that the colors are still in development, and Apple has time to make changes before mass production. Last year, the same source reported that Apple was testing black and steel gray for the iPhone 17 Pro, and neither appeared on the actual product. At least some of these four may be cut before launch.<\/p>\n Apart from the new finish, not much is expected to change in the overall design this cycle. Big rumored upgrades include a variable aperture main camera and a smaller dynamic island.
