I could never get it right. Also: my training app records my weight in kilograms, so now I have to change that on top. I looked at the ceiling, entered numbers into my phone calculator, gave up, and logged \u201cheavy.\u201d This was my life for two years. Then one evening, in about twenty minutes, I created an app that fixed it. The app was embarrassingly simple: It adds up the total weight of the barbell plates I&#8217;m lifting, and gives it to me in kilograms and pounds. No social features, no cloud sync, no login even. Just a weight calculator app for my gym.
