Long Island serial killer Rex Heuerman, who pleaded guilty earlier this month to the murders of eight women, told his wife he killed seven of them in their home, according to an excerpt from an upcoming documentary episode released Monday.<\/p>\n
Mr. Heuermann’s wife, Asa Allerup, who has divorced him, told her lawyer in the Peacock documentary, “The Gilgo Beach Killer: House of Secrets,” that when Mr. Heuermann agreed to talk to her about the murders, “he seemed very nervous \u2013 very, very nervous.”<\/p>\n
“I said to him, ‘So, Mr. Heuermann, I understand that you are confessing to me about these murders,'” she says. “‘Can you please tell me how many of these women you killed?’ He said eight.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThey said I was not home during all of that,\u201d says Ms. Ellerup, who is in her 60s and who, according to prosecutors, was on vacation with her children when the crimes occurred.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
His attorney, Bob Macedonio, asks him if a woman was murdered in his home in Massapequa Park on Long Island.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe said yes, they were killed downstairs in her room, all but one,\u201d says Ms. Ellerup.<\/p>\n
Most of the women’s remains were found at or near Gilgo Beach on the south shore of Long Island, about a half-hour drive from the Heuerman home.<\/p>\n
