One such problem is excessive battery drain. Another bug related to the update is the inability to change the Bluetooth audio device type. For example, let&#8217;s say the Bluetooth adapter you use for your car was mistakenly identified as headphones. Pixel devices automatically reduce headphone volume to prevent hearing damage. As a result, audio playback in your car will not be as loud as you would like.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"e_e e_P\">\n<p>one in <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/GooglePixel\/comments\/1rlhjcb\/comment\/ogrr453\/\">reddit post<\/a>Google has now acknowledged the bug. According to the post, the company&#8217;s internal teams have investigated the matter and determined the root cause. The good news is that this is being fixed and will be available in a future software update. The bad news, however, is that Google says a software update is scheduled to be released &#8220;in the coming months.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"e_e e_P\">\n<p>If you are also facing this problem, the tech giant recommends that you &#8220;keep an eye out.&#8221; <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/pixelphone\/community\">pixel community<\/a>&#8221; Not surprisingly, some users are not thrilled with having to wait possibly months before receiving this fix. &#8220;The coming months&#8221; are a bit far off for this kind of irritation, says one user.
