Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced the arrest of Indian man Nav Kumar Tupili, who was previously convicted of sexual exploitation of minors. “Nav Kumar Tupili, a criminal illegal alien from India, has been convicted of using a computer for immoral purposes involving children and using a computer to commit a crime in Wayland, Michigan,” the Department of Homeland Security said. ICE said the man was already in ICE custody because he was living in the United States illegally. Tupili had entered the US on a student visa that was revoked in 2024, ICE said, adding that the county jail honored the ICE detainer and referred him to ICE rather than releasing him.Last weekend, ICE arrested criminal illegal aliens across the country who were convicted of heinous crimes, including sexual assault of a child, human trafficking for sexual slavery, sexual assault of a minor, rape, kidnapping and other horrific crimes, the department said.“Over the weekend, the heroic men and women of ICE arrested criminal illegal aliens convicted of some of the worst crimes, including sex trafficking, child rape and kidnapping,” said Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Biss. \u201cICE law enforcement never takes a day off from removing criminal illegal aliens from American communities \u2013 even on the weekends.
