Mali’s military says unidentified armed “terrorist” groups have attacked the capital and several military targets in the country’s interior.<\/p>\n

In a statement on Saturday, the army said fighting was continuing.<\/p>\n

There are also reports of firing near the main airport in the country’s capital Bamako.<\/p>\n

Two explosions and sustained gunfire were heard near Mali’s main military camp and several other locations in the military-ruled country, according to witnesses and journalists.<\/p>\n
