The Duke and Duchess of Sussex dismissed his book as “deranged” and accused him of pushing misleading narratives.<\/p>\n
He said Bower “crossed the line from criticism to fixation long ago,” adding that this is “someone who has publicly said, ‘The monarchy really depends on eliminating the Sussexes from our position of life,’ language that speaks for itself.”<\/p>\n
\u201cHe has made a career out of creating ever more elaborate theories about people he doesn\u2019t know and have never met. <\/p>\n
“Those interested in the facts will look elsewhere; those looking for deranged conspiracy and melodrama know where to find them.”<\/p>\n
However, the author has now reiterated his point, saying that the California-based royals only accept their version of events. <\/p>\n
Speaking on a podcast, Bower also made personal comments about Harry and Meghan and alleged that their relationship is built on mutual benefit rather than emotions. <\/p>\n
He told The Express: “I mean, Harry can’t read a book, he’s never read one. And I don’t think Meghan reads many books either. <\/p>\n
\u201cBut what I take from it (the statement) is that the thing with Harry and Meghan is that they think only their narrative, only their story, should be accepted.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey cannot accept that someone can criticize them, that someone can question them.<\/p>\n
“I think it’s a relationship based on good business sense. He needs that, because he’s a lonely sad man, and he needs the label.”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
