Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan has leaked his conversation with Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi after the IPL 2026 clash in Jaipur on April 25.<\/p>\n
The 15-year-old entertained the Sawai Mansingh Stadium crowd with his fearless batting. He thrashed Sunrisers Hyderabad bowlers all around the ground and played another breathtaking innings for Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur, leaving the opposite team and fans stunned.<\/p>\n
Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a stormy inning of 103 runs in just 37 balls. He completed his century in just 36 balls and it became one of the fastest centuries in IPL history. Thanks to his strong hitting, Rajasthan Royals scored a huge score of 228 runs for 6 wickets.<\/p>\n

Ishan Kishan played a brilliant inning of 74 runs in just 31 balls, while Abhishek Sharma also played another brilliant inning of 57 runs. He helped SRH chase the target with ease as the Royals suffered a five-wicket defeat on Saturday.<\/p>\n After the match, there was a minor altercation between Ishan Kishan and Vaibhav Suryavanshi. The two were seen talking and smiling after the tough match in Jaipur.<\/p>\n Ishan admitted that he was surprised by the way the young player batted. His hitting put huge pressure on SRH bowlers. However, they got some relief after Saqib Hussain had the RR opener out LBW.<\/p>\n Ishan Kishan said on JioHotstar, “I was just telling him the craziness with which he was batting and how he was hitting. Sometimes, you get scared even thinking what the scorecard could have looked like if he had stayed for a few more overs.”<\/p>\n So, taking his wicket was important for us. It was 228; It could have easily been 258 runs. I know all your secrets and inside stories,'” Ishaan joked.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Ishan Kishan made a strong comeback in Team India for the T20 series against New Zealand earlier this year and also got a chance in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. He made this comeback after a brilliant domestic season, where he led Jharkhand to win the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.<\/p>\n During that tournament, he scored more than 500 runs and was one of the top performers. Talking about his journey, Ishaan made it clear that he had not thought much about being out of the team at first; Instead, he focused on improving his game and becoming more consistent.<\/p>\n “When I was not playing and was out of the team, I told myself I can’t cry or be angry about it. That’s the easiest thing for any player to do. It might get you some sympathy from people; you might even feel good about it, but it won’t take you anywhere,” the SRH star said.<\/p>\n Ishan further added, “The only thing that could get me back into the reckoning was runs. So, I just wanted to improve my game and score as many runs as I could, even if it meant hitting more sixes than any other batsman.”<\/p>\n “Only consistent run scoring can bring you back into the team. If 300 runs in a season is not enough, score 400 runs; if not that, score 500 runs.
