When it comes to breakfast, bread is often considered a smart and healthy option. From sandwiches to pudding, it is consumed in many forms and is said to be rich in nutrients. But Sadhguru differs from the concept of bread. In a recent reel on Instagram, he said, “Most of the food that you eat is at least one to three months old. What did Sadhguru say?
In the reel Sadhguru said that the practice of eating fresh food is gone. “Such a practice is gone, isn’t it? Nobody is even expecting a warm bread anymore. It’s in a refrigerated condition, obviously it’s many weeks old. So when you eat that, it will cause a lot of inertia in the system.” He adds, “When inertia comes into the system, naturally you sleep more and more. Suppose you just go on a fruit diet, you just do that and see for one week. Suddenly you will see easily one to two hours of sleep will get cut down.” He explains, “Simply because it’s fresh and alive. You are putting dead food into a living body. It’s a wrong thing to do.”
