The first Monday of May is here, which means the Super Bowl of fashion is almost here. It’s the biggest night for the world’s best dressed and our personal favorites as armchair reviewers. Sure, it’s fun to walk across the Met’s carpet, but it’s also fun to do it from your couch. (We speak from experience.)
And while it’s impossible to make completely accurate predictions about what anyone will wear — the guest list is kept a secret until the night — it’s still fun to think about what might happen based on the little information we have.
Last November, we attended a preview at The Met, where we found out what this year’s exhibition theme would be costume art. Months later, we learned the dress code would be Fashion Is Art.
