Gaming laptops have been locked in a cooling arms race for years, and most run on two fans, sometimes three. Honor went beyond all this. company launched two new gaming laptops in China this weekAnd the flagship Honor Win H9 comes with six fans inside a standard-sized chassis. That’s more than any gaming laptop has done before, at least without turning it into a small suitcase-sized desktop replacement.
The H9 combines the cooling system with an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti GPU, delivering a combined power output of 270W. Honor’s six-fan setup uses a 2+4 configuration, with two intake fans at the bottom and four exhaust fans at the back. The company claims a 57% airflow improvement compared to traditional designs.
The 16-inch display runs at 2560×1600 with a 300Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. There is also a 3D anti-motion-sickness feature which Honor says can reduce motion sickness symptoms by up to 58%. The H9 has a 92Wh battery with fast charging that reaches 60% in 30 minutes, supports Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1, and comes in Black Sea or Flash White.
Below that is Win H7, which takes a more traditional approach. It runs on Intel’s Core i7-14650HX, a 14th-generation chip instead of the new Core Ultra series in the H9, paired with an RTX 5060 or RTX 5070. The display drops to 180Hz and sRGB coverage instead of DCI-P3. It’s a capable machine, but it falls far short of the number of fans compared to its sibling.
China only for now, without any global dates

All prices are in Chinese Yuan, no official conversion in other markets yet. Pricing for the H9 starts at around $1,800 for the Core Ultra 7 and RTX 5060 models. The top-tier Core Ultra 9 and RTX 5070 Ti configuration costs around $2,775. Pricing for the H7 starts at around $1,350 for the RTX 5060 model. Honor has not announced global availability or pricing for other markets.
