US First Lady Melania Trump reportedly warned Mar-a-Lago members against taking photos of her son Barron Trump during December holiday events.
Citing sources, journalist Rob Shuter reported that he considered his son’s privacy “non-negotiable” and threatened a possible club ban for violators.
Describing the so-called leaked photo of Barron, multiple outlets reported that she was seen walking safely behind President Trump in a dining area. No photos of any major “leaks” have been publicly released, and the Trump family has not commented.
This episode appears to be limited to gossip and entertainment media. Major news organizations have found no independent verification or official records supporting the more dramatic elements of the account
Although he keeps a somewhat low profile, Barron recently began his sophomore year at New York University, with the New York Times reporting that the 19-year-old student has transferred to the university’s Washington, DC campus, which is less than 2 miles from the White House.
This comes after the first lady was mentioned at the Oscars on March 15 when Jimmy Kimmel took aim at the Trump administration.
