President Trump is hosting the second state dinner of his second term in honor of the British monarch, King Charles III, and his wife, Queen Camilla, on Tuesday evening.
The king has sought to remind Americans of the strong cultural, historical and political ties between Britain and the United States during his official state visit, amid tensions in diplomatic relations and the US-Israeli war in Iran. First lady Melania Trump led preparations for the dinner, which the White House has said is intended to honor the “special relationship” between the two countries.
Here is the evening dinner menu provided by the White House.

Flower Arrangements and Decoration
The evening’s decorations reflected a shared appreciation for the gardens. Cherry blossoms greet guests as they enter the Grand Foyer. Inspired by the beauty of English gardens, tall trees and blooming garden boxes of lilacs grace the room. Tables dressed in green pleated linens were adorned with seasonal flowers of lilac, butterfly ranunculus, phlox and lily of the valley, highlighting the beauty of spring. The lush garden greenery is complemented by gold and white accents.
The tables are set with more than 250 pieces of porcelain from the White House collection, as well as handmade ceramics by distinguished American artisans, including Ben Wolfe. The Clinton anniversary service is presented with a hand-painted menu featuring courses served at both the Clinton and Bush china services. Rooted in traditions cherished on both sides of the Atlantic, these details reflect the long and enduring friendship between the United States and the United Kingdom.
