BJ Novak is sharing sweet details about his relationship with Mindy Kaling’s daughter as well as a glimpse of his laid-back lifestyle.
In a recent interview with wall street journalNovak revealed that Kaling’s 8-year-old daughter, Katherine, had once expressed her desire to stay at his house.
“Her 8-year-old daughter recently said she wishes she could live at my house. When I asked why, she said, ‘It’s like a little house in the country,'” said Novak, who is also Katherine’s godfather.
The Office alum described his Los Angeles home with humor.
He joked, “I live in a Midcentury house in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood of L.A., I wanted a house with a view, but not on a scary street with coyotes and Charles Manson henchmen.”
Although he has lived there since 2011, Novak shared that he has little interest in renovation.
“I don’t believe in them anymore. It’s better to love and enjoy the quirks of your home.”
