Motorola not only unveiled three new Razrs, but also made the previously leaked Moto G87 official. The device packs the best main camera ever in a G-series phone.
It is a 200MP sensor with OIS and includes 2x lossless zoom. There is also an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 32MP selfie snapper on board.
The Moto G87 is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6400 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. The phone features a 6.78-inch “Extreme AMOLED” display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 5,000-nit peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 7i on top.
The G87 is IP66, IP68, and IP69 certified for dust and water resistance, as well as MIL-STD-810H certified for durability, which includes withstanding drops of up to 1.2 meters. Motorola also promises that the G87 delivers up to 280% “more powerful audio” from its dual speakers than its predecessor.
The device packs a 5,200 mAh battery with 30W wired charging support. It runs Android 16. The Moto G87 will be available in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America “in the coming weeks.” The price has not been announced at this time. Interestingly, it seems that the phone will be called Moto G Max in some markets.
